Scott is a Senior Project Manager for large commercial mechanical contractors for 26 years. He has lived in Berkeley Park since 1988 and bought his house from his father. Scott has been a BRUN Member since 2019 and the Events Chair since 2020. He is trying to help save the character of the neighborhood

Alejandra X. Castañeda
Vice President and Zoning & Planning (ZAP) Committee Member
Alejandra was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. from Argentina (her mother’s birthplace) in 1994. A member of the Northwest Denver community since 2008, Alejandra is committed to working in support of Land Use and Transportation policies and practices that result in housing abundance, healthy homes for everyone, sustainable+accessible mobility options, and a livable Denver for all. She’s a Pedestrian Dignity advocate who looks forward to expanding BRUN’s membership to ensure all community members are included in the conversation. Alejandra lives with her daughter, V, and her dog, W, in the Skinner neighborhood.

Board Member
Beth lives in Berkeley with her husband, Rick, and dog, Cosmo, and has two adult children. Beth has worked in community development and affordable housing in Denver for over 40 years and loves living in NW Denver.


Gabe Calderon
Board and Sustainability Committee Member
Gabe has worked in the Information Technologies field for over 30 years and is now retired and would like to focus on Sustainability. He joined BRUN in 2020 and has participated in the Zoning and Planning Committee and the Sustainability Committee. Gabe is also interested in Accessory Dwelling Units.

Dan Swislow
Board Member
Dan joined the BRUN board in January 2026 to help strengthen connection, safety and livability for his neighbors. He is a Berkeley-Regis homeowner and dad with nearly 20 years of experience working in public policy and government affairs. Dan is especially focused on traffic safety and creating more ways for neighbors to connect, while strengthening what already makes Berkeley-Regis a great place for families and for kids to grow up. He moved to the area six years ago and lives in Berkeley with his wife, Sarah, young son, Leland, and their dog, Doug.
