The BRUN Board of Directors meets virtually on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. All community members are welcome to attend.
Every meeting includes time for public comment and general neighborhood concerns. To be added to the agenda, email the board.

Council President Sandoval’s office updated on matters including the W 38th Ave multimodal project and the DO-8 overlay on W 32nd Ave. The board discussed the Yates Theater Good Neighbor Agreement ahead of the Board of Adjustment hearing.

The board heard two presentations: Melissa Horn, aide to Council President Sandoval, presented on the Unlocking Housing Choices effort; and Gardens Dispensary requested an amendment to their existing Good Neighbor Agreement to extend closing hours.

The board heard a presentation from BRUN community member Kate Mason who is working to secure a grant to install a mural on the I-70 underpass columns.

On Oct 28, the board sent a letter to DOTI advocating for a 25 mph speed limit on Lowell Blvd, in response to concerns also raised by Historic Berkeley-Regis (see their letter to the BRUN Board). On Oct 13, the board voted via email to send a letter to Otten Johnson on the Regis Village Rezoning.

The board heard a presentation from Evan Dreyer, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Mayor (on leave), on the Vibrant Denver Bond Measures (2A-2E) on the November ballot (view presentation). The board also a partnership opportunity with the Centennial Elementary community.

The board approved sending a letter to Regis University with questions about the Regis Village rezoning application, and supported a BRUN ZAP report on the Sheridan Corridor Safety Study.
