The BRUN Board holds virtual monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. These meetings are OPEN TO ALL. The BRUN Board will not meet in December.

Each meeting includes time allocated for public comment and general neighborhood concerns. If you would like to be added to the agenda, please send an email to brun-board@googlegroups.com. (Note: Some issues may best be addressed at the Committee level, and we will decide which option is best based on individual needs, circumstances and timing.)

On Tuesday, October 28, the BRUN Board sent a letter to the Executive Director at the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure asking her to consider reducing the posted speed limit along Lowell Blvd. in our geographic area to at least 25 MPH. ➡️Read the letter here.
We thank Historic Berkeley-Regis for their partnership in helping to prevent unsafe traffic speeds in our community. They wrote a letter to the BRUN Board sharing their own concerns with traffic speeds.
On October 13, the BRUN Board voted via email to send this letter to Otten Johnson, representatives working with Regis University on the Regis Village rezoning process. Please reach out to the BRUN Board if you have any questions or concerns.

Highlights of this meeting include a presentation from Evan Dreyer, deputy chief of staff for the Mayor, about the Vibrant Denver Bond measures (2A-2E) that will be on the November ballot. We discussed and approved sending a letter to Regis University with questions about the Regis Village rezoning application, supported a BRUN ZAP report about the Sheridan Corridor Safety Study, and brainstormed about community-outreach ideas and materials.
During the July 2025 meeting, the BRUN Board voted 5-2 to send a letter to Council President Amanda Sandoval our council representative for District 1, urging her to support the Modernizing Parking Requirements effort. In early May 2025, the BRUN Board voted to send a Safe Routes to School Letter to the Director of the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) after at least three incidents in which students were injured while biking in our community.
